The trip from Las Vegas to Tasayan, just 6miles from South Rim, Grand Canyon, was pretty uneventful. Old Wendy tried to overheat on a couple of 8 % up grades, but just pulled over for few mins and she was fine, had her in shop in Vegas for oil and lube, to be expected cost $100. more than it should have. we traveled down I-515 to US 95 to Boulder City and across 68 to Laughlin. Could not go across Boulder Dam, too much construction. From Laughlin drove over to kingman and picked up a section of old US 66, now known as Scenic 66 (not a US highway anymore, sad). Moved on over to Seligman and picked up I-40 to Williams, There turned north on Arizona 64 to our current location, an RV park.
